Free Dental Implants:

If you are covered by a regular VHI policy and are missing all your teeth you will often be covered for a portion or all of the cost of some implants on the bottom jaw. Typically the VHI makes a contribution of approximately €500 per implant to a maximum of 6 when you struggle wearing a denture.

If you get mini implants this will compltely cover the cost of the treatment. If you get standard implants this will make a significant contribution to the treatment cost.

Dental implants are also covered by tax relief at the marginal rate as a medical expense. This is subject to prior approval from the VHI.
