Top Irish athlete Derval O’Rourke will have more reason to smile than usual this year. She has become a patient of Tom Linehan at the Seapoint Clinic and will be undergoing a smile makeover which will take approximately 10-12 months to complete.  Let’s hope she gets a chance to show them off at the London Olympics in 2012! 

Derval said, “After the World Championships I came in to meet with Tom and the Seapoint Clinic team.  After a quick consultation I decided to go with the treatment and so far everything has been going great.  With the World Indoor championships and European outdoors next year I hope I’ll have plenty to smile about!”

Derval O’Rourke is the Irish record holder at 100m, 60m and 50m Hurdles.  She has won a World indoor gold medal, a silver European outdoor medal, a bronze European indoor medal and finished fourth and top European at this year’s World Championships in Berlin.
