Dr. Thomas Linehan B.A. B. Dent. Sc. (Hons),(T.C.D.).
Dr. Linehan qualified with honours from Trinity College, Dublin in 2001. He achieved success in college by creating the first Ryanair website, Ryanair.com. After qualifying he moved to the UK for 2 years and practiced in a cosmetic and advanced restorative practice in London. Upon returning to Ireland he focused his attention on Cosmetic Reconstructions and Implant Dentistry and set up his own cosmetic dental clinic.
He has completed extensive training in Dental Implantology and Cosmetic Dentistry. He has a certificate in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick, England and is currently engaged in a research degree in Implant Technology. He travels regularly to America and Europe, attending educational venues in order to remain at the top of the field.
Dr. Edmond O` Flaherty B. A. B. Dent. Sc.(Hons) (Dublin 2001)
Dr. O` Flaherty qualified with honours in Trinity College in 2001. His link to the area goes back much further as he went to primary school in Scoil Lorcan just around the corner from the practice and secondary school in CBC, Monkstown Park.
After graduation Edmond travelled to London to a state of the art Whitecross practice and worked there for 2 years. Upon returning Edmond was a clinical supervisor in the Dublin Dental Hospital for 3 years part time and also worked in the city centre. In 2003 he set up in Dun Laoghaire before moving to Seapoint in 2007.
He has travelled to America dozens of times to get the best education possible to benefit his patients. His father is a Medical practitioner in Mount Merrion for the last 25 years. His sister is also a dentist and his brother a doctor.
Edmond keeps abreast of all developments in cosmetic and implant dentistry and has been a guest on "The Gerry Ryan Show" on 2FM, Newstalk 106 and other radio stations talking about cosmetic and implant dentistry. He has also appeared on TV3 (Expose) several times talking about Da Vinci veneers and dental bondings. He has a regular column published in Irish Dental magazine on topics such as "dental implants", "Simplified CT Guide Fabrication" in May-June 2009 and "Bone Loss" in Jan 09. He has also written articles for the Sunday Tribune on dental implants as well as Senior Times and Lifetimes among others.
He has limited his practice to dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.
General Dentistry/ Orthodontics Department
Dr. Audrey Dore-Geraghty, B.D.S.,(Hons), (U. Cardiff).
Dr. Dore-Geraghty works part-time here at the Seapoint Clinic. She also operates in the Molesworth Clinic, Dublin 2, alongside her parents who are also both Dentists. Audrey graduated from the University of Cardiff and is currently studying for her MSc in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick and is engaged to be married to Dr Hugh Anthony. She also performs orthodontic treatments including 6 month braces.
Dr. Hugh Anthony, B.D.S.,(Hons), (U. Cardiff).
Dr. Anthony works full-time here at the Seapoint Clinic. He is currently engaged in a masters degree programme in Orthodontics and his expertise is invaluable. He has a long dental pedigree as his twin brother is also a dentist as is his father and soon-to-be father-in-law. Hugh is currently studying for his MSc in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick and has undergone training in the Damon braces system. He works primarily in orthodontics including Damon braces and 6 month braces.
Dr. Altona Myers, B.Dent.SC. (T.C.D)
Dr. Myers graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2007. She has worked in general practice in Dublin since then and also provides our Facial Rejuvenation Treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, derma fillers and chemical peels. Altona underwent her training in facial aesthetics on Harley Street, London. She also performs orthodontic treatments including 6 month braces and has completed taining on 6 month smiles and invisalign. Altona is originally from Killarney, Co. Kerry and her sister is also a dentist.
Dr. Kevin Murphy, B.Dent.SC. (T.C.D.)
Kevin qualified from Trinity College, Dublin in 2007 and received his MFDS RCSEd in July 2009. Kevin has worked as a house officer in the Dublin Dental Hospital and in general practice. He is available for all general treatments.
Dr. Claire O'Sullivan BDS, FDS,MSc,MOrth
Claire qualified from Scotland as a dentist in 1994 she then went on to complete her postgraduate training at various different dental hospitals for excellence throughout the UK. These included Cardiff, Liverpool, Bristol, Dublin and Brisbane Australia. She decided to specialise in Orthodontics in 2000 after passing all the necessary entrance exams. She studied Orthodontics for 3 years in Glasgow which is her home town. She returned to Dublin in 2003 and practices with the largest Orthodontic unit in the country in James hospital.She has also worked in private practice around the city for the past 7 years. She is now accepting new referrals and welcomes children and adults alike.
Endodontic Department
Dr. Cormac Cullinane, BDS NUI MSc (U Lond)
Cormac qualified from UCC in 1995. He's been in general practice for 7 years in the UK and 6 years in Waterford where he was a partner in a multi-surgery premises. Cormac was recently awarded an MSc with distinction from Eastman Dental Hospital, London and recipient of Dentsply Maillefer Award for endodontology graduate of the year. He udertakes all aspects of both non-surgical and surgical endodontic treatment.
Dental Laboratory Department
Mr Kevin Doran (B. Dent. Tech T.C.D.)
Kevin qualified in 2008 from the University of Dublin, Trinity College. He receieved a distinction in his Bachelor in Dental Technology. He is responsible for fabricating intra-oral devices including orthodontic and prosthetic devices. He has been to the Malo clinic in Lisbon to undergo training in dental implant restorations. He has worked in several laboratories in Dublin and works full time at the clinic.
Mr Colm Sower
Colm has recently joined the team as our Clinical Dental Technician and we are delighted to have his skill and expertise on board, for all denture work.
Hygiene Department
Ms. Rozanne Flanagan:
Rozanne started her dental career in 1999 when she graduated winning three awards including best academic project with an Hons Diploma in dental technology from Trinity College Dublin. After a productive year in the Labs of the Dublin Dental hospital, Rozanne realised that a more patient based approach was what she yearned for. She commenced an intensive two year course in dental hygiene, run by world renowned Ms Karin Nylund RDH MSc and Dr Denise Mc Carthy. In 2002 Rozanne achieved her qualification in dental hygiene and packed her bags and diploma for the lure of London, working in Dr Nigel Meyer's practice on Bond Street. After sometime travelling, Rozanne is now back in Dublin, where she enjoys working in Seapoint Dental Clinic.
Lorraine O` Halloran R.G.N., R.D.H. (Hons)N.U.I:
Lorraine trained as a general nurse in university College, Cork, following 3 years experience in the South Infirmary Hospital and the Mercy hospital, Cork, she moved to London where she gained a further 3 years experience working in the Cromwell Private Hospital, Earls Court and the London Eye Clinic in Harley Street. She then returned to her native Cork to study Dental hygiene in UCC where she graduated with honours. Lorraine joined the team at the Seapoint Clinic in July 08.

Ms. Susan Murran:
Susan is an excellent manager and has overall responsibility for the non-clinical areas. She joined us in 2009 from her previous position of management in the financial services sector. She has a background in customer services and is able to answer all questions about the clinic. Susan is also up to date on all procedures offered in the clinic.
She is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and has completed dental implant training in Chicago, 2009 (Biohorizons) & Lisbon 2010 (All in 4, Malo Education).
Reception:
Libby Buckley:
Libby has been with us since 2004 and is very popular with us and our patients. She has extensive experience and travelled with us from our original practice in Dun Laoghaire. She has received dental implant training in the Uk (Astra) and in Detroit (Misch implant Institute).
Helen van Winsum:
Helen has been with us from the beginning at Seapoint . She has worked in the hospitality industry and has had experience is in hotel management. She has been on implant training in the USA and is familiar with all procedures carried out at the clinic and is always happy to be of assistance.
Nursing Staff:
Regina Byrne: Regina is a qualified dental nurse and came to us from the Northbrook Clinic. She is Dr Linehan`s nurse and has been with the clinic since it opened in Seapoint. Her expertise is broad and at times seems limitless. Regina has had cannulation training for IV sedation and has been trained on dental implants in Chicago.
Magda Pierce:
Magda has worked in the dental industry since March 2005. She studied sociology at home in Poland but had lived in Ireland during summers. She worked in a very busy local surgery in her home town of Lublin, Poland. She worked there for over a year before moving back to Ireland permanently. She worked in a dental practice in Stillorgan for 2 years before getting the opportunity to join the team at the Seapoint Clinic. She has completed her Professional Nursing Qualification from Trinity College. Magda has also had training in IV sedation and in cannulation.
Jenny McAteer:
Jenny graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2004 as a dental Nurse, with first class honours. Jenny has completed certificates in ECDL, patient services, cross infection control and concious sedation and we're delighted to have her as part of our team.
Rachael Byrne:
Rachael has also completed her Professional Nursing Qualification from Trinity College and she is from Wicklow. Her brother Shane represented Ireland at rugby for many years and she works as our Orthodontic nurse. She has also had training in Zoom tooth whitening and in fresh breath treatments. Rachel has also had training in cannulation for IV sedation.
Karen O'Callaghan:
Karen has completed her nursing diploma at Trinity College, Dublin and graduates in June 2010. She worked previously in the catering industry in Dobbins restaurant and in Shelbourne Park. She even catered for the president in Aras an Uachtaran. She has experience in dental nursing since 2006. Karen lives locally, she is an excellent Nurse and a welcome addition to the team.
Michelle O'Donohue:
Michelle qalified as a dental nurse in 1996, she also holds a distinction in Dental Ragiography. Michelle has much experience in the field of general dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics and her expertise is vital.
