Scale & Polish

A scale and polish, otherwise known as a hygiene appointment, involves professionally cleaning the teeth and gums by a member of our dental hygiene team. By attending a dental hygienist, we are able to remove any staining, plaque and tartar buildup, which cannot be removed by regular brushing alone. Our hygienists then polish the teeth using a soft rubber cup and a gritty-like paste.
