Dentures or Dental Implants

Dentures or Dental Implants

For years denture wearers in Ireland have come to accept that it is a normal part of everyday life to put up with loose uncomfortable dentures.

Many live with the taste of denture paste dominating their taste buds and the roof of their mouth covered, restricting any enjoyment from food.

We've heard stories about people living in constant fear of their denture falling out in public, avoiding the foods they love in favour of banana sandwiches because they can’t chew properly.

Dental implants remove the need for that nasty plate that covers the roof of your mouth. Your teeth are fixed in a removable or non-removable fashion while looking and feeling like your real teeth.
Implants can be used to secure what we call a click-tite denture in a press-stud fashion, which will make your denture far more stable and comfortable, as well as a reduced plate size. You can be comfortable in the knowledge that your denture isn't going anywhere, but you can easily remove it for cleaning.

You may wish to opt for fully fixed teeth that are attached to dental implants in a non-removable fashion. It will be like having your own teeth back in again and they can be easily cleaned while they’re still in your mouth. This is the most natural solution to missing teeth.

Which would you prefer, a restrictive diet, messy denture pastes, and loose dentures or fixed teeth and the freedom to enjoy your life?

Take a look at a traditional denture compared to fixed teeth with dental implants; we know which one we’d prefer.
