Braces: Not Just For Teens

Braces: Not Just For Teens

It's becoming increasingly popular for adults to get braces, especially with the wide range of orthodontic treatments available here at the Seapoint Clinic. From conventional braces, see-through braces and Invisalign, we're certain there's a treatment available for you to get you smiling once again. Our orthodontic team cater for people of every age, from all over the country who want their teeth straightened.

In years gone by, the only option available when it came to teeth straightening were awkward and uncomfortable metal braces. However, as orthodontic treatment has continued to advance, so too has our approach to teeth straightening. This has enabled braces to become far smaller and more discreet, often seemingly invisible unless viewed up close. So, just what are your options...

Fixed Braces

By far the most common type of orthodontic treatment, fixed braces are often referred to as conventional or 'train tracks'. The main advantage of fixed braces is that they are a tried and tested way of fine-tuning your teeth into the correct position. As modern designs are far more sophisticated and being available with ceramic brackets, it means that they are far smaller and discreet than before. They also enable you to get the ideal smile in a reasonably short period of time.

Invisalign

Invisalign is ideal if you wish to get perfectly straight teeth with little to no one realising you are having treatment. As they are made with custom-fitted clear aligners, we can comfortably re-position your teeth in the most discreet possible way available. They are the ideal form of treatment if you have previously worn braces as a child and have since underwent some form of orthodontic relapse. Even better, they are removable, meaning you can easily remove them to eat all your favourite foods throughout treatment as well as brush your teeth as normal.

Six Month Braces

As Six Month Braces harnesses the latest in dental orthodontic technology, we can give you the smile you always wanted. With this treatment, we only move your front teeth meaning that treatment is purely for cosmetic purposes only. By using specialising low forced wiring, we are able to gently manoeuvre the teeth into the ideal position.

I have only good things to say! That's my honest opinion of the whole process.
