Composite Bonding

Composite Bonding

Composite Bondings-

Are you looking to improve the appearance of your teeth without undergoing extensive and costly treatments? Composite bondings might be the solution you've been searching for. They really can be life changing with dramatic improvements in appearance in just a single visit. What's even better is that unlike smile makeovers overseas, composite bondings do not damage your teeth, so you can keep your teeth for life. That's why composite bondings are becoming our most popular choice for transforming smile and building confidence.

Composite Bonding involves using advanced tooth-coloured resin to your teeth to help improve their overall aesthetic. In some cases, we can completely transform your smile in as little as one hour, saving you both time and money. Even better, there's no discomfort or permanent alterations to your natural teeth.

Composite bonding allows us to improve the appearance of somewhat crooked teeth. As we add composite bonding to your teeth, we can hide misaligned teeth and improve your smile!

What Dental Issues Can Composite Bondings Address?

Composite bondings are versatile and can address a wide range of dental issues, including:

Composite bondings for chipped teeth, teeth gaps, dental discolouration

Dental bonding for uneven teeth, misshapen teeth, worn-down teeth

Cosmetic dentistry for teeth with minor fractures, small cavities

The Composite Bonding Procedure:

The dental bonding process is really straightforward... Once we have completed appropriate digital planning and 3d Design there are 3 steps.

1: Tooth Conditioning-  We use a mild conditioner on the tooth which helps to create a clean surface to bond to. We then apply a bonding material which connects the tooth to the resin.

2: Composite resin sculpting- The resin is applied using special silicone instruments. It is then smoothened and polished using a variety of brushes and polishing discs. The hand crafted composites are completely bespoke for you to give you the look and comfort you require.

3- The Result- A beautiful improvement to your smile! Best of all, no drilling and no tooth damage.

Closing Gaps

Composite bonding can also be useful for closing small gaps between teeth. Whether you have a single gap or multiple gaps, you can still get the smile you've always longed for. Our cosmetic dentists simply place composite resin on your teeth, helping to close the gap/s between them or make them appear more discrete if it is not possible to close them completely.

You might also want to consider our Instant Veneers (Composite bonding over front of tooth) or Porcelain Veneers to achieve your dream smile.  But this is something your cosmetic dentist can discuss with you on the day of your initial consultation.

If you'd like to discuss what treatment is best suited to your specific needs, why not book a consultation to see if it is suitable for you?

How Much Are Composite Bondings?

Typically the cost is around half what regular veneers are. For up to date pricing please visit our fees page.

What is the Typical Process?

It depends on how much of a change you want to make. For small changes to one or two teeth it may be possible to change in your first treatment appointment. For more advanced changes to multiple teeth we usually take photographs and carry out a design digitally before fixing your smile.

It's played such a big role in boosting my confidence

Composite Bondings/Veneers

You would imagine it takes alot of confidence to run a successful coaching business and gaining a social media following of over 650K, Sean says that he was lacking confidence before coming to Seapoint.

Sean had composite bondings here at Seapoint Clinic, which involves adding advanced tooth-coloured resin to the teeth to help improve their overall aesthetic. The results of which, Sean says, have been life changing.

"I'm smiling a lot more now", he explains, "Before, I used to be shy enough about my teeth. I wouldn't really smile in photos, or you know, if someone were to make a joke, I wouldn't fully laugh because I didn't want to show off my teeth. But now, I'm always laughing and smiling; you'd think I was the happiest person in the world."

How do I start?

You can book your consultation with a cosmetic dentist and we can plan the treatment for you! We also offer free consultation with our treatment coordinator if you would like to hear more.
