Veneers

Here at Seapoint Clinic we provide two forms of veneer, porcelain veneers and Instant Veneers. Seapoint's Instant Veneers can be completed in as little as one hour following your initial consultation and doesn't require any preparation of your natural teeth, unlike their porcelain counterparts.

The porcelain veneers we use at Seapoint Clinic are carefully handcrafted by Da Vinci Studios, California. People tend to opt for these when they are looking to make radical changes to their teeth. They are made using a very fine layer of tooth-coloured porcelain, which is then bonded into place over your own natural teeth to improve their overall aesthetics and protect the damaged surface below.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants are the best way to replace missing or failing teeth. Whether you are missing a single tooth, an entire set or want to replace that tired old denture - dental implants are the ideal solution for you. Not many people realise the long-term damage they are causing by not replacing missing teeth. Without a tooth root, your jawbone can actually begin to decrease in size over time and lead to facial collapse, drastically ageing a person. When maintained properly with regular check-ups and brushing, dental implants can actually prevent further bone loss as they act just like your own natural teeth, resulting in the stimulation of bone growth in your jaw.

A very common question is "How many implants will I need?". Normally, four to six implants can be used to replace all the teeth in one jaw. For just a few missing teeth, two or three implants may be used. Generally the more implants placed the better and stronger the foundations are. This is particularly important in people with high bite forces and those who grind their teeth in their sleep. People who clench or grind their teeth put more pressure on implants than those who do not. But of course, each case needs to be assessed fully on the loading that it must endure, and there are a lot of factors which contribute to the decision of how many implants to definitely place in each case. Your implant dentist can tell you for sure on the day of your initial consultation.

Braces

Braces are among our most popular forms of cosmetic treatment available at Seapoint Clinic and we have a wide range of options suitable for anyone of any age! Long gone are the days of bulky, metal braces. Instead, slim and sleek designs and even invisible braces are now an option, meaning hardly anyone will even notice you're having treatment!

Seapoint's Six Month Braces technique focuses solely on your front teeth, meaning results are purely for cosmetic purposes only. They are ideal for anyone looking to improve their smile in time for upcoming social occasions such as weddings or a new career start. If you require your back teeth moved or need your bite altered, you may still need to opt for conventional braces.

Invisalign is becoming increasingly popular among patients of all ages. Unlike conventional braces, your custom-molded aligners are completely removable, allowing you to eat, drink and even brush your teeth as normal throughout the entirety of your treatment. Treatment takes roughly a year to complete, but may go quicker where fewer movements are required. Even if you've worn braces before, Invisalign is a discreet and simple way to straighten your teeth.
